Floor models and clearance mattresses on this page are deeply discounted because they were either display units at one of our 5 LA showrooms or are last season's models. Every clearance mattress is brand new (never slept on except by showroom shoppers trying it out for a few minutes at a time) and ships with the same 120-night Love Your Bed Guarantee and free next-day delivery over $499 as full-price models.
A king is 76 by 80 inches, sixteen inches wider than a queen, which is the difference between two adults sharing comfortably and two adults negotiating for space. King floor models are the pieces most often marked down deepest over Labor Day because they are the hardest size to store, so if you are flexible on model this is the size where the sale does the most. Try any of them at our five Los Angeles showrooms.
Part of the Labor Day mattress sale. Other sizes: queen, California king, twin, twin XL and full. Shop by type: hybrid, memory foam, latex and Tempur-Pedic.
A King mattress measures 76" × 80" (6 ft 4 in × 6 ft 8 in). 16" wider than a Queen, same length. The right pick for couples who want shoulder-room, families who co-sleep with kids or pets, and anyone replacing a Queen because "we keep waking each other up." The extra width is the upgrade; the length is the same as a Queen.
What pairs with a King. King-size bedding is standard and widely available, King fitted sheets, flat sheets, duvets, and pillow shams come in every brand. Most adjustable bases offer King as a single-piece unit; couples who want independent articulation should look at Split King instead.
Room sizing. Minimum bedroom for a King is 12 × 12 ft, the bed itself takes 6.3 × 6.7 ft and you need ~24" walk-around space. If you're under 12 × 12, a Queen (60" × 80") fits much more comfortably. See the full mattress size chart for every size compared, including the dimensions in feet, inches, and centimeters.
Every King mattress on this page ships with free next-day white-glove delivery across Los Angeles on orders over $499, an optional $100 same-day upgrade if you order by 4 PM, and the 120-night Love Your Bed comfort exchange so you can swap firmness if it isn't right at home.
A standard king is 76" wide by 80" long, the widest mattress made. A California king is narrower but longer at 72" wide by 84" long. King suits couples who want maximum side-to-side space; Cal King suits sleepers 6 feet or taller who need the extra length. Both use king-sized bedding, but the sheets are not interchangeable between the two.
Yes. Most of the king mattresses we sell ship rolled-and-compressed in a box, which fits through any standard 30" doorway with room to spare. Traditional non-compressed kings (some luxury innersprings) measure 76" wide flat, but our delivery team handles getting them through tight stairwells and hallways. Call ahead if you have unusually narrow access.
We recommend a bedroom at least 12x12 feet for a king, that leaves enough wall clearance for nightstands and walking around. A 13x13 or larger room gives more comfortable circulation. The bed itself is 76" wide, so account for at least 24" of walking space on each side.
Next-day white-glove delivery is free on orders over $499 anywhere in Los Angeles. Need it sooner? Same-day delivery is a flat $100 when you order by 4 PM. We set up the new mattress, haul away your old one, and recycle it, not landfill.
We back every purchase with a 120-night Love Your Bed Guarantee. Sleep on it for at least 30 nights to let your body adjust, then if it’s not the right fit, exchange it for any other mattress, we credit the full original price.
Yes. We offer 0% APR financing through Synchrony and Acima on approved credit. Terms vary by purchase amount and partner, apply in 60 seconds at checkout or in any showroom.
