Saatva on its own terms
Saatva made an unusual bet: sell a traditional, tall, coil-based luxury mattress online and deliver it fully assembled instead of compressed. That shapes everything about the product.
What it does well. The coil core gives genuine lift and pushback, which is what back and stomach sleepers need to keep the hips from dropping. Airflow through the coils means it runs cooler than any all-foam bed, and that matters in an LA bedroom without air conditioning in September. Edge support is strong, so the full width stays usable. It comes in multiple firmness options and more than one height. And because it arrives expanded, there is no unboxing, no off-gassing window, and no waiting a day for it to reach full height.
Where it falls short. Price is the obvious one, and it is not pretending otherwise. Coils transmit more partner movement than foam, so a light sleeper next to a restless partner will notice. Nectar on its own terms
