  1. Find the amount of cushioning you enjoy.

    Memory foam doesn’t always mean soft. Some mattresses offer a deep, cushioned hug, while others feel firmer. Look beyond the firmness label and consider how much you want to sink in, along with how easily you can change positions.

  2. Check what’s underneath the foam.

    A mattress can contain memory foam without being all-foam. All-foam models use foam support layers, while memory foam hybrids include springs. Check the construction details to understand what you’re comparing, especially if you prefer some bounce alongside contouring comfort.

  3. Look beyond the cooling label.

    If you tend to sleep warm, compare the cover, foam layers and airflow features. Look for an explanation of what each feature does. A gel or cooling label alone isn’t enough to tell you how the complete mattress will feel overnight.

Start with the size your room and frame can take, then set a budget for the complete setup. Compare firmness and construction separately. Shortlist a few models, read their exact specifications and terms, and try your usual sleeping positions in a showroom. There is no one best mattress for everyone.
What is the difference between a hybrid and an innerspring mattress?
Both use springs for support. A hybrid combines a coil support system with substantial comfort layers such as foam or latex. Labels overlap, so compare the actual layers, height, feel and support requirements of each model instead of assuming the label decides comfort.
How much does a mattress cost?
Cost varies with size, construction, brand and options. Use the size selector and filters to compare the size you need, and include the frame or foundation, accessories, taxes, the recycling fee and any delivery or removal charges in your total.
Can I try these mattresses in Los Angeles?

Is a firmer mattress always more supportive?
No. Firmness describes the surface feel; support depends on the construction and how it works for the sleeper. Labels are not standardised across brands, so compare actual models rather than a firmness number.
How do delivery and the comfort exchange work?
Free white-glove delivery when merchandise after discounts is $499 or more, $50 below that, within 50 miles of our Koreatown warehouse. The 120-night comfort exchange is one same-size exchange after 30 nights with no exchange fee; optional pickup and redelivery by our team is $100 total. This is an exchange, not a money-back trial.
How should I choose memory foam firmness?
Compare how individual models feel in your usual sleep positions, including turning and getting out of bed. No material or firmness suits every side sleeper. Compare hybrid alternatives if you want to assess another construction; mattress shopping advice is not treatment for pain.
